Pudong in Shanghai Shanghai
is located on the coast of eastern China
at the mouth of the Yangtze River. Shanghai is a tourist destination renowned for landmarks such as the Bund, City God Temple, and its Pudong skyline including the Oriental Pearl Tower. The Oriental Pearl Tower is 468m ( 1,535ft ) high and was the tallest structure in China from 1994–2007 ( it was then surpassed by the Shanghai World Financial Centre. ) The Oriental Pearl Tower belongs to the World Federation of Great Towers. Shanghai is the largest centre of commerce and finance in mainland China. |
