Bali is one of over 13,000 islands
in the Indonesian archipelago.
The island has a population of some 4 million people and is approximately 144km from east to west and 80km north to south. The island has a varied landscape of hills and mountains, rugged coastlines and sandy beaches, lush rice terraces and barren volcanic hillsides providing a picturesque backdrop to the colourful and deeply spiritual culture of this 'Island of The Gods'.
