George Ingram, ( 1863 - 1928 ), Son of James Ingram ( 1820 - 1885 ) Was
a Lieutenant in the 3rd Lanarkshire Volunteer
Rifles.
Started work as a cashier with Brand & Co., Sugar Refiners. Established Ingram Brothers & Co., Sugar Millers with his brother James Ingram. The company is still being run at present by his grandson Eric Young. Two wives:- Married Agnes Fairley ( 1858 - 1917 ) on 1/6/1887 and Marjory Fraser Asher (
1893 - ? ) on 12/9/1921
